MAS - Malaysian S - Students A - Annual D - Dinner Russian State Medical University (RSMU) currently has an approximate of 500 Malaysian students and counting as the years go by. The Malaysian Student Annual Dinner (MASSAD) is a yearly event organized by the 2nd year Malaysian students since 2006. Originally, MASSAD was just an event to bring unity among the Malaysian students and honor the 6th year graduates heading home as medical doctors. However throughout the years MASSAD has evolved to bring on a more challenging and meaningful role to students here in RSMU. Today the purpose of MASSAD is to: * Honour the 6th year graduates. * Award the best of Malaysian students of RSMU in their respective fields. * Give an opportunity for Malaysian students to gather and socialize with each other. * Unite the heart and soul of Malaysian students of RSMU as one.
